A full exterior wash — stucco or siding, soffits, fascia, trim, and the outside of your gutters — using the right pressure for each surface so nothing gets etched, streaked or driven behind the wall.
When a house looks dingy from the street, the wall is rarely the worst part of it. It is the soffit and fascia — the shaded, horizontal surfaces under the eaves that never get direct sun and never dry out properly. Mold and mildew take hold there first, then run down the wall every time it rains, which is what produces those grey vertical streaks below the roofline.
Washing the wall and skipping the soffits gets you a clean house for one season. We work top down, so the source comes off before the surfaces below it.
Most Brevard homes are stucco, and stucco is porous. High pressure drives water into it and can etch the finish permanently — a mistake you cannot undo without repainting. Stucco gets soft washed: solution applied at low pressure, given time to work, then rinsed.
Vinyl siding has a different failure mode. Pressure aimed upward gets behind the laps and into the wall cavity, where it has nowhere to dry. We wash vinyl at a downward angle at low pressure for exactly that reason. Painted wood, aluminium and Hardie board each get their own approach.
